Our contract together

This is a verbal agreement between you and me , Together we will discuss your presenting difficulties and how many sessions may be needed , we can work for 6 weeks ( usually this is a starting point ),or we may choose to work 'open-ended',this means untill you feel the work is complete.

I have regular on-going reviews , normally 6 week intervals , this is a good oppurtunity for you to look at the work you have done and our work together, many clients find this helpful , because they can see how far they have come on their journey .


Confidentiality

The purpose of confidentiality is to provide you with a safe , secure environment that gives you privacy for your difficulties.
The information that is disclosed in our session together , is strictley confidential , however in order that I abide by Professional body BACP , I have regular supervision , any concerns I have or if you disclose any risk/harms to yourself or others, then I would firstly speak to you and secondly seek advice from my supervisor as to the course of action needed to be taken.I would like to reassure you that, my supervisor is part of the same Professional body as I am and follows the ethical codes and practice of the BACP.

Late for an appointment

I am sure you can appreciate, being late for an appointment can reduce you session time. Usually client arrive 5 mins before in order to settle themselves.

Cancellation policy

I ask in order to help with administration, you give 24hr notice of making a cancellation.
Cancellation of less than 24hrs will be chargeable at the full session fee.

Fees
One to one counselling;
Fee; £ 40.00 per 50 min session, this is usually paid 1 week in advance.

Couple counselling;
Fee; £50.00 per 50min session, usually paid 1 week in advance.

I can offer concessionary fees; for students and individuals on low income , so please ask at you first contact.
